*Hello, I'm Donna Woodson-Masonhall and this website is dedicated to the search for my family history. Those who came before me contributed in some way to make me who I am. Thus it is important to me to pay my forebears tribute by remembering them and insuring that their history is passed on to those who follow in times ahead. This history must not be lost. Although some would not find this so important, I believe that a connection with the past and those that share a common ancestry leads to a better understanding of ourselves and gives a sense of continuity and completion to our lives.

*Thanks to those in my past with birth names of Morris Berry Woodson, Anita Elizabeth Garcia, Arthur Clyde Ellzey, Maude Weathersby, James Pickett Woodson, Richard Kidder Woodson, Rachel E. Maupin, Timothy Garcia, Seaborn Booker Ellzey, Lillie Olivia Kinchen, Walter Bragg Weathersby, Ida Artimese Youngblood, Emily Littlepage Hickman, Mary Josephine Fielder, Ross Alanson Ellzey, Amanda Narcissa Booker, James Thomas Weathersby, Amanda Mikell, Benjamin Franklin Youngblood, Permelia Cornelia East, Jacob R. Youngblood, Emaline Priscilla Simmons, James Baggett, Celia Rasbuary, James Mikell Jr., Nancy Baggett, John James Mikell, Mary Hooker, Jonathan Weathersby, Mary Thames, Alexander W. Kinchen, Anna T. Smith, John Kinchen, Mary D. Raby, James Booker, Mary Higginbotham, Daniel Quin, Keturah Deere, Thomas Ellzey, Mary Laura Quin, Lewis Ellzey, Eve Shaffer, Alfred James Fielder, Catharine Mullen, Benjamin Franklin Hickman, Frances Goodwin Littlepage, Samuel Hughes Woodson, Ann Randolph Meade and many more---I wouldn't be here without you.

*You are welcome to copy and share the information included on this website with immediate family members. If you copy it for your own personal use, please let me know who you are so I can send you any updates and/or corrections as they may occur. My thanks to all who have helped me in gathering information for this project, especially my dear husband Dave who contributed hours of research to the task and helped me create this website.
